About Us
We specialise in supporting ambitious Australian importers and exporters. We created Navinci Global Markets to solve our own SME challenges. We leverage this real-world experience to design better solutions for our clients.
Welcome to Navinci Global Markets
Navinci Global Markets is regulated, licensed by the Australian Securities & Investments Commission, registered with AUSTRAC, and has received certification through Global Islamic Financial Services Firm (GIFS) to provide Shariah compliant foreign exchange hedging solutions, enabling us to meet the needs of importers and exporters.
The firm is owned by Tozer and Co., an Australian family office, and staff.
Our Story
Through first-hand experience with our investees, we found that SME importers and exporters in Australia suffer significant challenges: limited, domestic bank-designed capital options that didn’t meet their needs, and hedging solutions that were often overly complex, costly and not fit for purpose. As such, they were out of alignment with the business’ strategic and financial goals and added to cash flow volatility.
Our experience also revealed various significant risks that require careful management such as:
Cash Flow Gaps & Volatility
Inventory cycles, unexpected payment delays and margin calls on hedging create significant financial risks
Complex Risk Management
Effective foreign market and currency management is challenging without specialised expertise, adding pressure on financial managers
Capital Scarcity
A shortage of working capital and constraints on SMEs underscores the need for reliable funding to secure discounts and supply stability
Support Through Growth Cycles
SMEs benefit from aligning with experienced partners to navigate economic cycles, plan strategically for future growth and have certainty of capital to deliver
Absence of Shariah compliant alternatives
Global trading partners can be better serviced through alternative offerings that meet their values-based requirements
Navinci Global Markets was established to manage and mitigate these risks across our current portfolio and future investments.
